I planned an evening for Lakin and I and told her I had bought us concert tickets. As we drove to Indy, we got caught up in a wreck, where we waited in traffic for what seemed like forever! We finally had to turn around and back track.. Talk about being nervous!  Once we finally made it to Indy, I told her I wanted to see Monument Circle before going to dinner. We walked up the steps at Monument Circle and there I got down on one knee. I hands were shaking so bad, but she was surprised, and she said yes! After proposing we enjoyed dinner at Ruth Chris Steakhouse and followed that with a Billy Currington & Kelsea Ballerini Concert.
